Cockington Primary School, Torquay, Devon.
Permanent Upper Key Stage 2 Class Teacher MPS/UPS with possible relocation package
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to join our talented and forward-thinking team in September 2019.
We are looking for an inspirational Year 5 or 6 teacher who can model and develop independence, a love of learning and help shape our children and school to achieve our vision: ‘Achieve, Believe, Succeed’. We invite candidates who have recent experience in this age group, who have high expectations and who place great importance in developing strong relationships with the children, staff and community.
We can offer you a wonderful working environment, with a clear focus on teaching and learning, including high-quality professional development. We are a large school and part of a MAT, which gives our staff fantastic opportunities for development and promotion. We are always keen to hear from future senior leaders. Our school serves a diverse catchment and works hard to ensure that all children thrive and grow. The children are amazing and we know you will feel a deep sense of satisfaction from providing the right environment for them to succeed.
If you are looking for a school where you are encouraged to balance excellence with wellbeing, where passion for teaching is highly valued and where the team are driven by an aspiration for every child to succeed, then we are the school for you.
Set in the seaside town of Torquay, we have the beach at the end of our road and are situated close to the moors and countryside. We are within an easy commute from rural, seaside and city living and - because Torbay is such a popular holiday resort - we have a fabulous range of attractions, restaurants and transport links at our fingertips. We are also only 30 minutes away from Exeter Airport with routes to UK cities and worldwide destinations. We could offer a relocation package for the correct candidate.
