Criminal Records CheckFor positions that are included in the Exceptions Order to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and that are required to access the Public Services Network (PSN) or data or any regulated positions as defined by the Criminal Justice and Court Services Act 2000, all applicants who are offered employment will be subject to a criminal record check (Disclosure) from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include the details of ALL cautions, reprimands or final warnings as well as convictions, whether 'spent' or 'unspent' except where these have been filtered out in line with current guidance.
